The design process begins with a free in home consultation. We discuss the project in depth and achieve a clear understanding of the clients goals, needs and budget. Whether the client is remodeling a Kitchen/Bath, new construction or one room at a time, our process is the same, working together to make your dream home a reality. Once the goals of the project are set, we provide a clear and decisive estimate for our time to be involved in the design project.

Whether you are a client with a clear cut vision or one that needs guidance, we will provide many ideas & concepts for Kitchen/Bath, Construction or Furniture layouts depending on the scope of the project. Providing many options and configurations allows the client to ultimately choose the perfect layout that will best fit their needs.

At this stage we begin to develop a color pallet through paint, fabrics and/or rugs. Once again, many options are provided so we can best understand what the client is drawn to. We learn an extraordinary amount based on what a client dislikes as much as what they are drawn to. Together, we will explore styling and color for optimal design.

Design & Create is the detail stage! We have a firm pallet and overall design direction. Finishes & fabrics have been chosen and layouts have been decided. At this stage we provide detailed tile elevations, cabinet drawings and furniture options. Design is in the small details, from accent tile liners to the trim on pillows, this is where design really counts…in the details!

If construction is the design direction, we bring our team of contractors to bid the project in one day. We provide costs for labor, materials, furniture and fabrics all before the first hammer is swung!

All has been approved and we are ready for construction! The goal is to contain the project to as few days as possible so the client’s lifestyle is minimally compromised. Providing a detailed calendar for contractors and installations will help the client know what to expect every step of the way. Lucy Gold Interiors provide full Project Management services. If furniture & fabrics are the design project, we deliver furniture, rugs, drapery & pillows all on the same day. One day delivery saves on time and money. We will oversee the delivery and installation on every job, ensuring a smooth install.
